Mush's primary care physician heals by instrument from his home office in Cincinnati, Ohio. The good Dr. has performed with and made music for Rakim, Talib Kweli, Black Starr, Mood, J-Live, Heiroglyphics, Lone Catalysts, and as of late, Pole and Styrofoam. On any given night one can find Jon in his office surveying the tools of his trade including a blinking console and a grounded plug, as his MPC generates melodious thumps and heart warming vibes. But music is more than just a trade, it's a duty for the man who brought you the therapeutic Five Deez releases Kool Motor and Kinkinasty as well as a solo release by his alter ego, Maurice Galactica. Fat Jon composes jazz from influence, and hip-hop from the soul to put the feeling back in his profession.
