Busdriver Supporting Rjd2	02/2010	Busdriver (and trusty right-hand-road-man Antimc) will be hitting the road with Rjd2 once again. Daedelus Tours United States With Jogger & Nosaj Thing	02/2010	Daedelus has tapped two of the Los Angeles electronic scene's fastest risers, beat-composer Nosaj Thing and production-duo Jogger, to support him on his upcoming United States tour, which he's dubbed the Magical Properties tour. Thavius Beck Launches Novation	02/2010	Thavius Beck, already known for his love of and prowess with Ableton Live, discussed his feelings for Novation's new Launchpad controller with the folks at Novation Community. The profile also features videos of Thavius doing some live tweaking in between the talky bits.

Lymbyc Systym Electronic Musician Profile	01/2010	Mike and Jared Bell spoke to Electronic Musician Magazine about their new album, with a bit more of a focus on the technical aspects of their recording process. The feature is entitled "Brothers In Audio."

Lymbyc Systym Live Session Online	01/2010	Lymbyc Systym recently performed an in-studio set at WOXY. The session was recorded for part of their Lounge Act Recap series, and features Christopher Tignor on violin. The Attack Of The Thavius Beck Show	01/2010	Thavius Beck was busy working the Ableton Live booth at Southern California's NAMM Show when the cameras from G4 TV rolled up. He gave a brief presentation on Ableton and the Novation Launchpad and a quick description of what NAMM is. Check out the interview.

Lymbyc Systym Tour The Wild West	01/2010	Lymbyc Systym is taking to the West Coast in the dead of winter for a series of nine dates down the I5 and across the 10. Check them out as they really swing into supporting their new LP Shutter Release. A tour preview post is up at Showered & Blue Blazered; show previews for the Seattle Hi-Dive show are up at Seattlist and the Seattle Weekly, a preview featurette of the Portand show is up at Pampelmoose, a preview of the San Francisco show is up on EpicSuace's Weekly Wooot, while a ticket giveaway for the SF show is up at the Bay Bridged, a preview of the LA show ran in the LA Times' Buzz Bands section, and a preview of the Tempe show is up at Factory Made Future. Ghost Clock On APM/NPR	01/2010	Lymbyc Systym's "Ghost Clock" off their recent release Shutter Release, was featured on APM's Marketplace with Kay Ryssdal twice in two weeks: on the January 12th PM program, and the January 18th AM program.

Lymbyc Systym Post-Show Profile	01/2010	Lymbyc Systym spoke with Nichole Bennett of KVRX , the student-run radio-station at the University of Texas, after their show at Emo's in Austin and have been profiled on the station's website. The article was reprinted at the Awkward Off blog.

Shutter Release Heralded By Alarm, Others	01/2010	Lymbyc Systym's latest album Shutter Release has been tapped by Alarm for their list of 50 Unheralded Albums Of 2009. These are the albums that flew under people's radars, but should have appeared on more year-end lists. It also appeared on Tanya's (from Easy Street Records) list of the Best Albums of 2009.

Lymbyc Systym Show Reviews	01/2010	The SF Examiner and San Francisco music blog Boy With Girls Name have both written up reviews of Lymbyc Systym's show at Cafe Du Nord. While the Examiner review is pretty cut-and-dry, Boy With Girls name actually suggests a recipe for vegan soup inspired by Lymbyc's performance. The LA Record reviewed Lymbyc Systym's performance at the Bootleg in glowing terms as well, while Visual Madness reveiewed the show as part of a group of shows he saw in LA for the week, although in quite glowing terms as well.

Lymbyc Systym Internet Tour Press	01/2010	Lymbyc Systym has been profiled in SF Weekly. A major portion of the article deals with the interesting debate over how instrumental acts should be defined. San Francisco music blog Epicsauce also profiled the Bells on their site (some of the profile is posted on SFist). To round out the Bay Trifecta, radio station KQED profiled the Lymbycs on their site as well. A massive preview feature with Jared Bell for the LA show appears on LAist. They have also been profiled in Seattle's the Stranger, two outlets in their home-state of Arizona, the Phoenix New Times and the Tucson Weekly. Finally, they were profiled on Arizona music blog So Mush Silence. The Houston Press also ran a short preview featurette for Lymbyc's upcoming show in that city. These features are all in anticipation of their upcoming West Coast tour.

Lymbyc Systym Wrap Up 2009	12/2009	Lymbyc Systym's album Shutter Release was reviewed by the Skeleton Crew Quarterly on the ocassion of its release, and in time with the review, the SCQ profiled the brothers Bell, asking about what they saw as the nest music of 2009. They also discussed some of the high- and low-points of 2009 in a profile with Big Shot Magazine. Mike Bell picked his favorite 2009 release (and a few runners-up) at The End Of Irony. Shutter Release was chosen as one of the Best Albums of 2009 by Dylan Peterson at Total Darkness Vs. Blinding Light and by the East Bay Express.

Lymbyc Systym "Ghost Clock" Clip	12/2009	"Ghost Clock" from Lymbyc Systym's latest LP Shutter Release has been video-fied. The clip, which features some heavy nautical themes shifting between a surreal restatement of the Noah's Ark tale, and a choppy beach-blanket dance-off, was directed by Jeff Kolar.

Busdriver Press Deluge	10/2009	Busdriver has gotten a tremendous press push for his latest Anti- release, Jhelli Beam. We've managed to compile a bunch of his latest features. Mush Records Among The Best	10/2009	Mush Records has been selected by AudioGraphic as one of indie hip-hop's premiere labels. Sharing the honor are New York's Def Jux and fellow Angelinos Stones Throw. Check out why these three labels have been branded as the Best Indie Hip-Hop Labels.

Deru Music Video	10/2009	Deru has submitted a phenomenal video for his track "Peanut Butter & Patience" from Say Goodbye To Useless. The clip was directed by Howie Shia of the PFF House, and animated by Shia with Pasquale La Montagna.

Lymbyc Systym Returns To Miami	10/2009	Lymbyc Systym's track "Rest Easy/Age Kindly" has been licensed a second time to CBS' CSI: Miami. The song will appear in Episode 802, entitled "Hostile Takeover," which is set to air on September 28, 2009.

Clue To Kalo To Play Melbourne Festival	10/2009	Clue To Kalo will be performing at the Beck's Rumpus Room venue for this year's Melbourne Arts Festival. Mark Mitchell - the mastermind behind Clue To Kalo - will also be splitting a DJ set with partner Alan Beverley as Treasure Island. Deru Scores For Paris Opera Ballet	10/2009	Deru recently hooked up with Joby Talbot to score a eight-part musical compostion for a ballet by Wayne McGregor titled Genus. It is based on Charles Darwin's discovery of evolution and is being performed at the Paris Opera Ballet. To commemorate the project, they've hand-made 100 CDs that include all of the music. If you happen to be in Paris, the ballet will be performed in November, and if you're interested in the music, check out Deru's webstore.

Clue To Kalo Screening At Indie Music Video Festival	10/2009	Clue To Kalo's "Inifnite Orphan" music video will be screening along with 18 other clips by artists on independent labels as part of the Indie Music Video Festival which travels the world, playing in 11 cities. Some other artists included in the festival are Neko Case, Roots Manuva, and D.O.A. Check it out when it comes to a city near you.

Thavius Beck Dialogue Early Release Party	10/2009	If you're in Los Angeles on October 7, make it down to the Low End Theory for a special show by Thavius Beck to celebrte the European release of Dialogue on Big Dada. The US version will be released on Mush in January 2010. Then in early November, Thavius will again be featured at the Low End Theory, this time for Novation Launchpad sponsored event. Octavius Music Used For WITNESS	09/2009	Octavius' "Artificial Sparks Of The Electric Stripping" is being used by the international human rights organization, WITNESS for a film exposing the plight of sex workers in Macedonia.
