| Into The Wild |  | 09/2007 | If you are lucky enough to have the movie, Into The Wild opening in your city this weekend, try to check it out. The movie stars Emile Hirsh, has a great supporting cast (Marcia Gay Harden, William Hurt, Jenna Malone, Brian Dieker, Catherine Keener, Vince Vaughn, Kristen Stewart, and Hal Holbrook) and is written and directed by Sean Penn. It tells the true story of Christopher McCandless, who in the early nineties abandoned his possessions, gave his life savings to charity, and hitchhiked to Alaska to live in the wilderness. Be sure to note the music during the scene with Christopher by the campfile on the beach. The song is "The Water Ran This Way Back And Forth" from our very own Pedro. |
