| The curse of the sophomore slump has surely not affected Thavus Beck. While spitting his own rhymes on two of the tracks, Thru is a mostly sprawling instrumental trip-hop compendium that lurks through the darker realm of drum & bass, IDM, and foreboding samples with such an eclectic deliverance exhibiting Beck's status as a true renaissance man. - Urb |
