| As if to compensate for the letter Y's iffy vowel status, Arizona's Lymbyc Systym cram it into their name wherever they can. Just as nonchalantly, they pack divergent styles into Love Your Abuser, leapfrogging so much it's hard to pin them down. Listen to a single track and you'd swear the band was jazz, glitch-folk or Tortoise. It's a bustling fusion, dappled with pop and hip-hop and soaked in a sunny vibe that makes it all work. - Philadelphia Weekly |
