| The latest annual installment of the Compost's label's excellent documentaries on the state of electronic music has been released. You can rely on Compost boss Michael Reinboth to set the tone for some of the most important prevailing directions for the coming months. With this in mind, Future Sound of Jazz Volume 5 points us towards further diversity and even more musical dexterity. Funk's at the center of the picture, as is an increasingly global view of dance culture, which leads Scandinavian Bjorn Torske to deliver a warm piano led jazz samba alongside one of the finest examples of electro-salsa from Lulu Mushi. - The Top |
