| A corrosive, hallucinogenic tech-funk workout that could and probably should change the world but will have to make do with Single of the Fortnight for now. 5/5 - The List / A carousel of scuffed electronics that slowly builds into an incandescent storm - NME |

| In the rest of the world, electroclash=glamour and sophisticated wit. In Scotland, however, it more often manifests itself in malevolence awkward noise and bug-eyed lunacy. Edinburgh's Magnificents mix bold, old synth riffs, non-specific fuzz and sloganeering punk rock to riotous effect. The best track on their second EP, "Digital Dirt," is a carousel of scuffed electronics that slowly builds into an incandescent storm of shouty indignation. Watch the blood pressure, lads. - NME |
