| A wonderfully twisted and witty album that reveals a multitude of layers and influences, ranging from thirty second jokes to minor epics replete with samples filched seemingly from every culture under the sun. Radioinactive is from the West Coast Workforce crew and "Pyramidi" is his first album on the delicious Mush label, responsible for last years' Ropeladder 12 compilation. Possessed of a nasal voice not unlike sometime label mate Doseone, his flows are far more rhythmic, counterpointing the boom bip of many of the productions. The constant twists and turns and rapid fire, stream of consciousness lyrical content takes a great deal of mental energy to follow, but ultimately it's a satisfying, amusing, and politically on point journey. - 3D World |
