| This premier offering from Clue to Kalo is a curious unconventional foray into the world of contemplative soul searching dreamy organic electronica. His web-like compositions untangle that little bit further with each listen. "This Is Over By Inches" is a winding key addled realization of a situation, with guitar questions, featherweight biting obtuse breaks and travelling vocals. "Still We Felt Bulletproof" pretends at invincibility, courtesy of lonely keys, sorry vocals, telling strings, crashing FX and vague percussive backwards beats. "I Think We Can Kinetic" hopes, as bells toll, breaks jump, introspective chords search and pleased keys smile. "Do You Know That Love Can End?" sees the gravity of the situation, thanks to swaying beats, un-sure keys, strings that settle doubts and a chilling cold-hearted synth. This is a melancholic beauty on album, which needs concentration and careful attention, if it is to be appreciated fully. - Beats |
