| Come Here When You Sleepwalk is an album that seduces slowly but surely. You might wonder why track one is called "The First Song of the Rest of Your Life," but by the time you've lazed through half the album you'll have stopped whatever you are doing to fully absorb the sleepy majesty of the album. Lightly plucked guitars jostle with flickering electronica, while Mitchell sings faltering, inconspicuous songs as laconic beats drift in and out. It's a bit of Four Tet, a little bit of Dntel and a whole lot of narcotic loveliness. - Big Issue |
