| Los Angeles based producer Alfred Weisberg-Roberts, or Daedelus as he likes to call himself, returns with a face-achingly complex, fifteen-song technological tapestry of an album that makes me blink a lot, like I'm about to have a fit. Shifting between eerie lounge musak that sounds like it's being played by the Smash robots and slowed down techno that your laptop would probably set as his ring tone, while musically it travels around a bit, it is nonetheless an 'album' of sorts, and a f--king satisfying one at that. Intelligent by design, and a real treat, excellent. - Ride BMX |
