| This one-man band has more layers than the Polyphonic Spree has members. Daedelus has made a name for himself with his hip-hop and vintage sounds mixed together like blueberries in pancake batter. This couples vintage music samples from the '30s and '40s with conga rhythms and electronic beats from today. When everything is layered on top of each other Daedelus wraps it in a child's eyes and delivers with such ease that you'd think anyone could do this. But Daedelus is the only one that can rise above all the other laptop bands out there and push the music in a direction it needs to go. - Modern Fix |
