| Oh this is so good, the lead track is a pure pop gem, the absolutely killer Nobody production last seen on the Earsugar Jukebox 7” sitting here somewhere inbetween classic summer-vibe indie and shimmering electrocuted folk. Alt-folk darlings DNTEL show up for a breathless remix, taking ‘Feet Upon the Sand’ (from the forthcoming album) and giving it a clipped beat and slick synths, the likes of which were probably last seen on the Postal Service’s incredible debut ‘Give Up’. And then comes Devandra, rather than an easy remix he opts for the rather brilliant idea of starting from scratch and covering the song ‘La Semilla’ (again from the forthcoming album) - an introverted and beautiful track tailor made to wash over you as you take a picnic in the sun. Absolutely gorgeous - a must! - Boomkat |
