MG-204 The Magnificents - Last Gasp Of Revenge  The first single from their eponymous full-length, "Last Gasp Of Revenge" is an electro-punk cyclone, careening between verse and chorus, letting up only long enough to catch a breath before the next monophonic shear hits you. B-side "White Lies" is a slow number, or as close an estimation as the Magnificents can get, full of anxieties about to bubble over onto the track. The Magnificents prove they can fit more energy within seven inches than many bands can fit across an entire discography. |
