Written shortly after the licensing deal between Mush and Big Dada was finalized, "The Sound Of A Handshake" touches on the insecurity of having personal art go public and the realization that contracts are a ridiculousness necessity. The movement ends with odd nosdam's new mantra: "you must be satisfied." Written on a trip to and from the grocery store, "This About The City" combines the singsong vocal play of Doseone and why? with an electronic space-rock hybrid that could only be from odd nosdam to chronicle the sights, sounds, and smells of a Berkeley bus ride.

Definitely my favorite cLOUDDEAD recording yet. The latest installment of limited tens finds them stretching out, mellowing out and getting all stoned/psychedelic/dreamy. Dark and loping with simple hiccupping beats and sinister samples and a gauzy ambience over the whole thing. Super melodic and minor key with lots of scratchy surface noise, background incidental noise and all sorts of mumbling and muttering. Much more song-y than other cLOUDDEAD records, sounding almost moody indie-rock-is with the lyrics practically sung instead of rapped. Perfect four in the morning chill out weirdness.
