| Mr. Echoes and the Isle of Weight, collectively known as the Opus, have been making beats for years. They specialise in gloomy cinematic numbers ("Mission Control"), dark jazz ("Life's Endless Cycle pt. 1") and brooding Dj Krush-inspired soundscapes ("The Addiction"). By chopping up beats and layering snappy snares, dirty strings, complex rhythms and other found sounds, the Opus concoct an aural universe that's as dark as it is beguiling. Enter at your own will. - Exclaim! |
