| This is Radioinactive's third album to date (after Fo'Tractor and Pyramidi) and it's my fave Mush album since Awol One and Daddy Kev's Slanguage and before that Boom Bip and Doseone's Circle. A totally refreshing take on left-field hip-hop that even with it's many extra influences does not throw away it's hip-hop base like both Mush and Anticon often do. The production of Antimc is wicked, an awesome array of sampledge with subtle live touches that weirdly alongside the rhymes and songs brings to mind Beck's Odelay, a Dust Brothers production masterclass. Add some sunshine psych moments to the mix and serve chilled. Twelve tracks. Very warmly recommended. - Boomkat |
