| The wickedest late-nite, red light, moody hip-hop - XLR8R |

|
| A five-track EP of innovative jazzy cuts ranging from the uptempo tango-like Latin percussion extravaganza "Blue Sonoko" to the abstract, melancholy hip-hop instrumental "Camden." "Moon Funk" is a loping jazz-hop excursion; "When I Dream of You" is a funky-drummer-meets-piano-and-trumpet-jazz musical fusion with some fun French lyrical samples worked over top for a rather Dimitri from Paris loungey feel; and "Stepping Out With My Baby" has an interesting James Brown-meets-Luscious Jackson funk fusion vibe to it, with some great classic horn work. - DMA |
