| Where do I start? If it's on Mush Records, it's left-field like Barry Bonds. Is political, Anticon influenced rap with Australian accents left enough for you? The production is adventurous in terms of sampling (read: anything under the fucking sun), and often engaging. and even though my heart pumps 25% Aussie blood, I don't catch a lot of the rhymes. The cadences of the emcees is an issue for me but if your system is Doseone-friendly it may be all good for you. My favorite track is "Family Assorted" for the ill loop alone. I also quite like the instrumental "The Fall of Houlihan," an ode to an injured rugby player if I understand correctly. I don't know if I'm the one to recommend this album but I'm not going to deny it was interesting either. - Thick |
