| How was Pedro (actually a bloke named James Rutledge who recorded Pedro between 200 and 2002) so ahead of his time? His ambient chamber music has just the right amount of pretty pluck ("Intro") and perverted pixel pushing ("123") to sound forward-thinking today. Maybe that's why Four Tet, Danger Mouse, Prefuse 73 and more vote for Pedro and show up to scatter his track "Fear and Resilience" all over the second CD. - CMJ |
