| Pedro (aka James Rutledge) is a knob-twiddler extrordinaire who takes cues from Boards of Canada and Brian Eno, mixing electronic textures and hip-hop beats with classical flourishes and precision. This 2-disc U.S. reissue of Pedro's 2003 acclaimed debut album includes an EP featuring remixes from Four Tet, Danger Mouse, and Prefuse 73. Pedro succeeds with interesting melodic flows contained in an otherwise metallic world. - Under the Radar |
