| This is the year's best compilation to date. Mush Records have arrived with the cream of the crop from the underside of the hip-hop arena to create a record that continues where the Anticon LP left off. The individual (exclusive) tracks are all brilliant in their own right, however it is the work from Jel, So-Called Artists, why?, Radioinactive, Nickodemus featuring Apani, Labtekwon and Revolutionary Ink featuring Doseone that pushes this release into another dimension. This release is not to be taken lightly under any circumstances. This is music exploring territories seemingly unknown to the hip-hop world. Brilliantly shocking at times and at other times simply beautiful. A complete spectrum is covered by the end of a sitting. Amazingly disturbing. Release of the month. 5/5 - Revolver |
