| Ropeladder 12 makes a great impression. Featuring most of the Anticon posse, as well as Slug, Aesop Rock, Five Deez and others, the compilation takes a decidedly more abstract and introspective route and does a great job assessing its segment of the avant-garde underground. Ropeladder 12 finds a lot of the contributors at the top of their game. Its standouts include Reaching Quiet, Labtekwon and Boom Bip with Slug. - Skyscraper |
