| Aside from a slight radio edit of the title track, this deep forest psych EP completely reconfigures three of this trio's flowerbed-bound beat compositions. As the sun hits its zenith on the horizon, Devendra Banhart translates "The Seed" into Spanish with the help of a chilly breeze and his acoustic guitar, while The Long Lost lend a similar stripped-down folk treatment to "Coyote's Song (When You Hear It Too)." Bringing some actual electronic texturing to an otherwise granola affair is Dntel's remix of "Feet Upon the Sand," which is lightly-doused in effects like a lawn satiated by the slow-mo spray of a sprinkler. - Urb |
