| WHO? Second full-length from Seattle electro-pop artist Dave Einmo, with guest appearances from Crooked Fingers, the Long Winters and more. SOUNDS LIKE? HLAK are all over the place with a wide array of influences, from hip-hop to Krautrock. The record fuses sampling with live instrumentation, giving Einmo a huge pallette of sounds to play with. HOW IS IT? Repetitiveness aside, Laughter's friskiness is refreshing. ROCKS LIKE: LCD Soundsystem, Beck, Gorrilaz - AP |
