| Yeah it's nice - old school in a new way. But peep this: I love the way he breaks down each song in the linear notes. Not the lyrics, but what he is trying to convey. This is what I would refer to as a rhymer's record. The production accents the rhymes, without overpowering. Unlike some records where you can tell that rhyming "red beans and rice" with the word "nice" means you better have Pete Rock on speed dial. This ain't that. This is an - it's weird I know, but an educated man's album. Get smart, get Labtekwon. - Strength |
