| Lymbyc Systym’s Jared and Michael Bell have done much preparing for the release of their second album, Shutter Release, due in stores on November 3. The brothers drew inspiration for the second album through late night phone calls to one another. The brothers, living in Austin and Brooklyn respectively, would sing melodies and coordinate and craft rhythms together over the phone and from this give and take, the record began to take shape. The ten song album came together using such instruments as organs, vibraphone, analog synthesizers, banjo, glockenspiel, African percussion, and even a toy piano. - PopMatters |
