| The Young Machines tells the story of love with an indietronic soundtrack. Like all stories of love, this one is filled with the greatest feelings that seem like they're never going to end. It has its ups and downs, asking, "is it really worth it?" Marc Bianchi sings of all the good and bad times of a first love while using an ever-changing electronic drumbeat. Her Space Holiday just fits like a well-worn shirt or a long-time girl's hand. This record has been played relentlessly through the halls of my apartment and is still holding its place as my favorite record of 2004. - BMX |
