| Ten purports to be the final album from this Anticon supergroup. Doseone and why? wander around the beat, chanting and rapping their absurdist free association vocals while the beat does plenty of wandering too. odd nosdam is maniacal, cramming every track full of found sounds, lush harmonies and droning drums. Like Fog or Boom Bip, cLOUDDEAD could be filed under pop just as easily as hip-hop, with neither tag fitting. The compositions here are dense and challenging. On first listen, some songs are just annoying, while others are stunningly gorgeous. But, the more you listen to this, the better it sounds. - Mean Street |
