| The always dismally vicious, vexing wordsmith, Doseone, leads the heavy-watered alterna-electro-hop of cLOUDDEAD through their weightiest grooves yet; an evil, irksome Eno-like ambient atmosphere of plunderphonics (crackling reel-to-reel tapes and battered samples courtesy of producer odd nosdam) and magically distaff phrases (check out "Rifle Eyes") that result in the thickest bit of music concrete since John Cage has his basement regrouted. - Chord |
