| Wave Motion is the first full-length instrumental album from Cincinnati, hip-hop producer Fat Jon, who has laced up his beats for names such as Black Star, J-Live, the Hieroglyphics and Rakim. The production on this album is influenced by equal parts jazz and classic hip-hop music. Wave Motion is essentially an instrumental hip-hop album - equally suited to a cipher as it is to home listening. Impressive for a collection of beats and sans words. - Yellow Rat Bastard |
