| When you're tired of listening to all those rapper dudes talking shit and just want to enjoy the beats on their own, then this album will be for you. Your mum might even like it and I don't mean that in a bad way. Nothing too outrageous or groundbreaking, just pleasant listening constructed by a specialized craftsman who prefers a cleaner sound than the dirty loops of most instrumental producers. The loops are there, just lower in the mix with the snares taking prominence. I do prefer the tracks where he includes vocal snippets to break up the track, but overall they aren't just beats for emcees, just tracks in themselves. - Stealth |
