| One thing is for sure, in value-to-money terms, the latest full-length from Regan Farquhar scores highly. Indeed, this amphetamine-fuelled word shower shares many of the techniques of its esteemed predecessor, Temporary Forever having been distinguished by Farquhar firing his rhyme book from the speakers with Gatling gun efficiency. While the collaborations with Daedelus and Radioinactive which served as an interstitial between his solo works succeeded in baffling even this most committed follower of California's Mush imprint, this album finds both Bus and its Driver back on their rightful route. Still delivering its message with a frightening velocity, once unencumbered with the involvement of others, the quick-witted cultural commentary comes back into focus as the central tenet of a sound, which bears little resemblance to any other. - Q |
