| Last year rappers Doseone, why? and producer odd nosdam assured themselves cult status by issuing six highly limited ten-inch singles under the cLOUDDEAD moniker - ambiguous covers, no song titles, hissy samples, perverse beats, frantic rapping bursting into surreal comedy and a heightened sense of stoned experimentation. A compilation of all six erratic sketches in sound, rhythm, and rhyme, imagine listening to Kid A one minute, then Cypress Hill the next, then both at once. That good and twice as peculiar. - Uncut |
