| Never has an album title been so apt. Hear Mark Mitchell's debut in a sunny social setting, and you'll be able to appreciate some decent junkyard electronica topped off with half-whispered vocals and spacey melodies. Listen to it again, though, in the dark or when you're falling asleep, and every beat and loop that seems to appear from nowhere becomes vitally hypnotic. It turns into an album to dream with. Welcome to a soft-focus landscape where robots kiss and the ice is warm. Enjoy and make sure no one switches the light on. - BBC |
